Paddy Folan, Bruce Foley and Jimmy Lamb (Deke Kincade behind them) playing at the John Hewitt Pub, Belfast.
This was the first night of the 2008 Irish Tour and we were amazed at how friendly
and spirited these folks were. It was a packed house and successful by any measure.

Sept 24, 2006 We shared the stage with John Sheehan of the Dubliners. It was
the final day of the Clifden Arts Festival where a number of musicians finished up
2 weeks worth of great music, art, poetry and drama. John is an exceptionally nice
person and a consummate musician and composer.

We played for Cardinal O'Malley at a Capuchin gathering at Wheeling
Jesuit University. He is a very personable and down-to-earth man. We were happy
to know all his requests and had the honor of having him join us on stage to
sing Our Lady of Knock.

We opened for an evening with poet Seamus Heaney, the winner of the 1995
Nobel Prize for Literature.
It was a great night at Carlow University, sponsored by the
International Poetry Forum,
filled with stories, poems and humor.

Deke Kincade is on drums and we are joined by our
good friend, Dave Hanner playing extremely tasty electric guitar. Dave is part
of the national recording group: The Corbin-Hanner Band. He is an extremely
talented and versatile singer/songwriter.

Our first CD release party. Lots of fun and a record
crowd for the Rosebud (over 750). The turnout was a big surprise for us and we
were very grateful for all the folks who came out to show their support.

circa 1979-1980
Early days of "Guaranteed Irish". Paddy and Bruce first played for
GAA dances at the Blarney Stone in Etna and for the Columban
Father's Annual Dance at the Irish Centre. They adopted a name for their group
because everyone was referring to them as "Mike Folan's son and son-in-law".
Jimmy (the new guy) joined up about 20 years ago and is still on probation.
